Donor Recognition
Volunteers created Hospice at Home more than 30 years ago. They saw a need to ease the pain and suffering that accompanies dying from a terminal illness. Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance cover many of the costs associated with hospice care for our patients and their families. However, some of our patients do not have access to medical coverage. So Hospice at Home turns to donors to ensure that no one is ever denied our services because of an inability to pay.
I cannot express my thanks for what you did for my husband and our family during our difficult time. I had no idea the degree of help and comfort you would provide.
Hospice at Home also offers complementary services and alternative therapies that are not required by Medicare. These services relieve stress, manage symptoms and promote wellbeing for patients and their caregivers. Our donor community makes these therapies available at no cost, too.
We would like to thank everyone that has donated to Hospice at Home.
Hospice at Home founded Lory's Place to fill an ongoing need in Southwestern Michigan, Northwest Indiana and beyond. We are a "Grief Healing and Education Center for Children and Families."
